On May 4, 2019, Auxiliary member Michelle Lentine will have her birthday party at our Post home. This birthday party is to collect donations to make care packs for local victims of Human trafficking.
Michelle has been collaborating with Rochester Regional Coalition Against Human Trafficking Trafficking and local agencies to idenify tangible ways for people to help this cause in our community. These care packs will be donated to human services, emergency shelters and local law enforcement to be distributed to those that are brought out of trafficking situations.
Since the event will be hosted by Ely-Fagan, Michelle would like to invite post members to partner with her by collecting items for donation throughout the month of April till May 4th when the care packs will be made. The items that are being asked for donation are as follows:
Essentials for Care Packs for Adults & Children
Travel size shampoo, conditioner and lotion
